Attendance at our monthly seminars, which generally run a full day in length, is one of the most popular features of BCG membership. We currently allow up to twenty people from each financial institution to attend each seminar. As part of the pro rata cost, five of these people receive a comprehensive Standard Procedures Manual covering the subject in detail; members can purchase a manual for additional attendees for an extra charge.

The Special Training Seminars are an optional feature of BCG membership and are offered on a variety of topics. Special Training Seminars are usually half day and have a more narrow focus than the all day BCG seminars. These seminars are held either in person or by telephone conference. If a member does not sign up for the seminar, then the member is not billed on their monthly statement. Attendees receive a considerable discount if a BCG Member. Non-members are welcome to attend these seminars and pay a higher per telephone line or per person rate than members.

The In-House Training Seminars are pre-packaged training programs designed to cut down on audit regulatory exceptions. Rules and regulations are presented in an easy to follow format. Visual aids, written materials, quizzes and "cheat sheets" are included to help your employees understand and remember what is required of them. Our attorneys are skilled presenters who focus on practical problems and solutions. Competitive prices are offered (materials and travel time are extra) with as many participants as you wish.

The client should contact BCG regarding its interest in a specialized topic or general area in which it desires individual instruction for its staff. Lectures or training classes will be structured according to the client's specific needs.

The series addresses a variety of topics including Privacy and Information Security, Fair Lending, Advertising Credits & Deposit Products, New Accounts, and Adverse Action Notices. The seminars are conveniently scheduled during lunchtime and will last approximately 1 1/2 hours. You can have as many employees attend these seminars as will fit into your conference room and use the opportunity for a "brown bag" lunch if you wish.
